A methodological framework to allocate storage space for outbound containers

The staking of containers on ideal locations within the yard is a tactical decision that affects productivity container terminals. goal to improve posterior loading and retrieval operations, get better use terminal resources. In this paper, we study how allocate storage space for outbound in A two-phase methodological framework proposed. first phase groups into clusters similar operational conditions. Then second phase, bi-objective assignment model solved determine set block-bays where will be stored during planning horizon. This presents double contribution.
